A girl has died after she was struck by lightning at Kanku VDC in Solukhumbu district Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Ramila Bishwokarma, 13, according to Police Inspector, Khagendra Bahadur Khadka.
Khadka died on the spot in the incident.
Similarly, six others, who fell unconscious after they were struck by the lightning, were receiving medical treatment at Kanku Sub-Health Post. Their health condition is normal, said the police.
